That’s Why
It is my plan to use this site to unclutter my mind. As a sounding board for ideas that have half baked there way on to paper, so to speak. And, honestly, to make an actual effort to write. I want to craft a sound here. I want to develop a tone that I can use as a pallet to paint other works.
With the changes the computer, and most recently the Internet and the concept of blogging, have brought to the world of publishing and therefore writing I think its past time I get my stuff out there.
I am leery of the whole exercise ending up being more of a vanity press. I’ll do my best to avoid content that only serves to glorify my brand of mundane. So I’ll try to use a loose essay format instead of a personal letter look. I’ll also try to impart some actual information, bits of wisdom and cautionary anecdote. Not because I believe myself to be the authority in any given subject, but simply to open subjects that are important to me to discussion and debate. My level of education is such that I may drive a lot of readers to drink with my fanciful grammar, punctuation and mixed metaphors . But the chip that’s formed on my shoulder doesn’t allow me to apologize for such things.
Further more, since this is my first crack at blogging, I’ll be spending a lot of time futzing with all the little bells and whistles. Expect the look and arrangement to change often and without rhyme or reason, at least for the first month or so.
